Culinary explorer follows the late Anthony Bourdain's journey to Little Haiti, where he filmed many of his adventures. Take a seat in Magdoos and linger in the city to experience some of the fresh, seasonal flavors Haiti has to offer. The menu here will vary from day to day, so plan to make repeated visits if you plan to make a repeat visit.

This casual restaurant is located in the middle of the neighborhood in a residential area and offers a variety of dishes such as pickled vegetables, chicken, beef, pork, lamb and pork chops.

This simple Jamaican grocery store opened in the 1980s on the northern edge of Little Haiti and has a four-seat restaurant serving a variety of dishes including chicken, pork, beef, lamb, chicken and pork chops. The menu is strong with Creole cuisine and traditional Haitian broth of beef and plantains, potatoes and green vegetables. La Tranquilite prepares fried pork confit called griot and taro root, a traditional stew with rice, and Haitian doughnuts with yam root, called malanga.
